Life saving equipment in our Communities
It is well recognised that high quality CPR with the use of an AED provides people with the best possible chance of surviving a cardiac arrest outside of hospital.
Burton and its surrounding area have a wide range of AED / Bleed kits within public spaces. Burton Community First Responders will be responsible for ensuring all public devices are correctly registered at a national level and with the ambulance service, have suitable custodians and ensure they are available when the public requires them.
The team will also support the appropriate deployment of new AED / Bleed kits throughout all our local communities, funded through local fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.
